Installation & Service Coordinator
Join the Top Hat Team!
About Us
At Top Hat, we believe a home should be the most comfortable place on earth. We’ve been a family-owned staple in South Central Wisconsin for over 40 years, helping our neighbors stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer. We’re proud of our "rock-solid" reputation, and we know that our success starts with a great team.
The Role: Installation & Service Coordinator
We’re looking for a friendly, organized person to join our Baraboo office team. Think of this role as the "heart of the office." You’ll be the person who keeps everything moving smoothly—connecting our customers with our talented technicians and making sure everyone has what they need to succeed.
If you enjoy a job where the day flies by, love helping people, and can keep a cool head when things get busy, you’ll fit right in.
What Your Day Will Look Like
-
Helping Our Customers: You’ll be the friendly voice on the phone and the first face people see in our showroom. You’ll help schedule service visits and make sure our customers feel taken care of.
-
Supporting Our Techs: You’ll help organize the daily schedule so our technicians have clear info and efficient routes. You’ll also help keep an eye on our vehicle fleet and equipment so the "pros in the field" stay on the move.
-
Project Coordinating: You’ll work closely with our sales team and warehouse to make sure new installations are scheduled at times that work for everyone.
-
Office Teamwork: Like any small business, we all chip in! You’ll help with some basic paperwork, greet visitors, and keep our records up to date.
What We’re Looking For
-
A People Person: You have a professional phone presence and genuinely enjoy helping others.
-
A Helper’s Heart: You’re great at multitasking and stay motivated even during the quieter "off-season" months.
-
Organized & Reliable: You have at least 2 years of customer service or office experience. If you’ve worked in HVAC, fireplaces, or dispatching before, that’s a huge plus—and we’re happy to talk about a higher starting rate for that experience!
-
The Basics: You’re comfortable with a computer (Microsoft Office) and have a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
-
Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour (based on experience).
-
Growth: We value industry knowledge and compensate accordingly.
-
Great Benefits:
-
Full Health, Dental, and Vision insurance.

401(k) with company matching.
