Resident Assistant/CNA
Meadow Ridge Senior Living is located in the enchanting bluffs of Baraboo, WI and provides assisted living and memory care services to seniors in the local community. Our beautiful senior living campus is managed locally by ElderSpan Management, LLC.
Our Resident Assistants (caregivers) bring joy to our senior population by delivering hands-on care and support along with a dedicated team, including working side-by-side with licensed nurses. We are always looking for compassionate, mature, kind, and dependable people to join our valued direct support team.
Shift: - AM Shift (7a-3p or 6a-2p) - PM Shift (3p-11p or 2p-10p)
Salary Range: $18-22/hr + Based on Experience
Resident Assistant responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Direct resident care (grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, incontinent care, mobility, transferring, oral care, etc.)
- Administering medications
- Taking vital signs, weights, and collecting specimens
- Documenting information or observations in electronic health records
- Meal assistance (delivering meals or providing nutritional intake)
- Updating nurses with both physical and social observations
- Socializing and engaging 1:1 or with group activities during meals or activities
What qualifications are we looking for in Resident Assistants?
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Support up to 100 pounds
- Three or more months' work experience with seniors, preferred
- Prior completion of CBRF training, preferred
