The Sauk County Historical Society invites you to Strange Departures: Extraordinary Ends of Ordinary Citizens! This event is a guided cemetery tour that focuses on the unique biographies and extraordinary fates of historic local citizens who met highly unusual, tragic, or unexpected ends. Through respectful costumed portrayals, this special autumn evening explores the peculiar and forgotten chapters of our region’s history, proving that the real past is often stranger than fiction.
