Sense of Place: Remembering Nina Leopold Bradley
Be inspired by the impressive life of Nina Leopold-Bradley, the eldest daughter of Aldo Leopold, as we celebrate what would have been her 100th birthday in 2017. Hear stories of how her time at the Leopold Shack made a lasting impact on her life and influenced her work as a conservationist, researcher, and writer. In 1976, she and her second husband Charles Bradley built a home just down the road from the Leopold Shack and turned it into a hub of ecological research. Nina, along with her four siblings, wanted to ensure her father’s legacy continued. She was instrumental in the formation of the Aldo Leopold Foundation, which had its beginnings in her home. Join us as we pay tribute to Nina Leopold-Bradley.
