Leopold Center Learn to Hunt
For many, including Aldo Leopold, hunting is an extension of their ethical relationship with the land and a way they choose to demonstrate their commitment to conservation. Explore the connection between conservation and hunting during this special Learn to Hunt course designed for adults who are curious about or new to hunting. The course will include time for classroom instruction and discussion regarding the ethical dimensions of hunting, as well as opportunities to hunt for deer under the guidance of an experienced mentor. More details coming soon. Instructor: John Motoviloff, National Wild Turkey Federation Hunting & Shooting Sports Recruitment, Retention, and Reactivation Coordinator Participants in this Learn to Hunt course are encouraged to attend the September 8 Hunter Safety session to acquire the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience necessary to be a safe and responsible hunter.
