“Enough: Discovering Joy through Simplicity and Generosity,”
The First United Methodist Church, 615 Broadway in Baraboo, will host a three-part class, “Enough: Discovering Joy through Simplicity and Generosity,”
The class, led by William Greenhalgh, a Baraboo estate planning attorney, financial advisor and member of the church, will offer a synthesis of biblical teachings and contemporary financial strategies to help participants discover their true security in God by breaking through modern society’s obsession with material wealth and possessions.
Using basic tenets of effective personal wealth management, participants will learn how to achieve personal contentment while freeing up extra resources to enable them to make a difference in their community.
“We are very pleased to be able to offer this class to our community,” said Marianne Cotter, pastor of First United Methodist Church. “Our goal is to provide participants with a life-changing, inward journey to their spiritual centers, ultimately creating happier and more productive lives by increasing their understanding of what is considered ‘enough’.”
Free nursery care will be provided.
