Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist
The team at Workforce Solutions has the privilege of providing HR consulting and recruiting services to business owners, fellow HR professionals, or anyone who just doesn't have the resources to fully execute their HR strategy. From compliance to recruiting and everything in between, we partner with businesses to keep their people strategy on track. As an affiliate in the MBE CPAs family of companies, we also provide full HR support to the 250+ employees across 18 offices in the MBE family of companies.
What would my day look like?
The Sourcing Specialist role will focus its energies on finding and sourcing talent for our open requisitions. We recruit for all industries but specialize in filling roles for small to mid-sized CPA firms in the US. An ideal candidate has strong technology skills for utilizing online platforms and social media to find talent leads, can think outside of the box to source talent, and has the ability to "sell" the opportunity to interested candidates to get them on the hook. We are seeking a team member to work out of our Baraboo office with the rest of the WFS team. We are open to candidates who solely want to do sourcing work or a candidate who also enjoys doing the full recruiting cycle including completing phone screens and interviews. This role has excellent potential for growth and upward mobility within the Workforce Solutions affiliate as our recruiting business is rapidly growing. Tasks will include:
- Proactively promoting both personal and employer brand along with current requisitions leveraging social media, job boards, and digital ads to source active and passive candidates.
- Actively sourcing passive candidates; finding creative solutions to attract and source talent.
- Proactively building and managing a candidate pool for current and future job openings.
- Attending job fairs, industry events, and related events to source talent as appropriate.
- Proactively building networks within communities, key schools and universities, local organizations, and professional groups to build WFS's brand and leverage connections to find talent.
What experience and skills do I need to be successful?
- Comfortable working daily on the computer including in HRIS software, ATS, and Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook. We utilize the isolved HCM suite including the Attract and Hire ATS.
- Strong communication and customer service skills for interacting with candidates and clients on the phone, via email, and in person.
- Ability to provide the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism in the role.
- Previous experience in a talent acquisition and/or sourcing role.
- Previous experience working within an ATS, Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, and related talent acquisition platforms.
- Developed knowledge of employment law and regulations as they relate to hiring.
- An associate's or bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field is a plus.
- Experience sourcing or recruiting within the accounting or CPA firm industry is a huge plus.
