Tour of Historic Haunts
What happened in mother Ringling's house after she died? Why did the Luther Saloon blow up one night in 1896? Did Mary Todd Lincoln see her husbands' ghost on the Square? The Tour of Historic Haunts is coming to Baraboo on Thursday, Oct. 30 with a new route and historic stories of the mysterious, malicious and the macabre.
Night-time guided tours will begin on the Square in front of the Sauk County Courthosue at 6 p.m., and wind their way through Baraboo neighborhoods and buildings to find places and people of the past.
Guests are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a flashlight.
Parking will be available around the Square.
