Stars & Stripes Special at Mid-Continent Railway Museum
Celebrating Freedom at North Freedom
Join us in celebrating the pivotal role that railroads played in the development of our nation with a patriotic ride aboard a train decked out in red, white and blue .Enjoy a free snow cone after the train ride, and take a walking guided tour of Mid-Continent's engine house, machine shop and car shop. Military personnel (active duty, reserves, and retired) ride for free in coach class during this event. The train will be pulled by Mid-Continent's beloved vintage ALCO S-1 locomotive.
