Repair Workshop
Are there items around your house that you've been meaning to repair, but didn't know how? Or maybe you just haven't devoted the time to dealing with them? Clothing that needs to be mended, tchotchkes that need to be glued? The library is holding a Repair Workshop Saturday, June 17 from 10 to 2 to help with just this scenario. Bring your items in, and we'll try to fix them together! Handy, fix-it type people will be on site to lend a hand, we'll have a variety of supplies and tools, and YouTube, of course! This can also be a space for you to bring your mending project that you know how to fix, but just hadn't had the time.
Please RSVP to the library and let us know what type of item you want to bring in to fix. Please also contact the library if you have skills to share! No need to be a professional carpenter (though you are welcome if you are!); we're just looking for people who can lend some experience.
