Pancake Supper at Trinity Episcopal Church
It's that time of year again, and we're getting ready to serve up pancakes, eggs, and all the good things for our Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper!
The tradition of eating pancakes on Shrove Tuesday started over 500 years ago, when folks needed to get all the delicious, fattening things like eggs and butter out of their larder before the long fasting season of Lent. Nowadays, it's a time to have some fun and eat our fill in the dreary part of the winter.
So join us in our Parish Hall at 111 6th St. to eat some delicious, fattening things on Tuesday, February 13th, at any time between 5:30 and 7:00.
It's free to attend, and all are welcome! Help us eat all these pancakes, there will be a lot of them!
