Merrimac Preserve Snowshoe
The preserve, which is made up of forest, prairie, savanna, wetlands and streams provides an important wildlife corridor between the Baraboo Bluffs and the Wisconsin River to the south. Join us on this 1.6 mile snowshoe through the beautiful Merrimac Preserve led by Linda Lynch. Meet at the Manley Creek Barn at S6770A State Road 113 at 9:30 am., with a warm beverage and snacks to be enjoyed at the end. If there is little or no snow cover, the event will be a winter hike instead of a snowshoe. Don't miss this opportunity to hike a new place meet other people who share your commitment to conservation where you live. Dogs are welcome on this field trip.
