A young professional is typically someone between the age of 18-40 that lives, works, and/or goes to school in the community. A “professional” can be any level of any career in any industry.
The Baraboo Young Professionals have four core values: networking, professional development, social connections, and volunteerism. We hold one meeting per month, typically the third Thursday, that focuses on networking and professional development. We strive to consistently find ways to add value to our community. BYP hosts several large special events per year to raise money for our scholarships for two Baraboo High School graduates, annually, and also give back to other organizations in the area, such as the Boys and Girls Club, Bar Buddies, and the Baraboo Area Homeless Shelter.
