DESCRIPTION:This month our volunteer event will be taking care of the trees at the North Shore. We will be mulching the trees to retain moisture and prevent soil erosion. Mulching the trees also helps with temperature regulation and weed reduction. We will be working from 9am-12pm on Saturday morning. Please meet at the Rock Elm Shelter at North Shore Entrance. Bring work gloves\, sturdy shoes and clothing\, sunscreen\, bug repellent\, and drinks. The Friends will supply the tools.
