DESCRIPTION:Join us on Zoom from 6 PM to 8 PM on Thursday\, September 8. The purpose of this event is to create an open forum where Baraboo area residents can learn more about the relationship between mental health\, equity\, and law enforcement in our community.\n\n \n\nThis event will also be recorded and posted on the library's YouTube channel. Links to the video will also be available on the City of Baraboo website.\n\n \n\nThe panel discussion will feature Sara Jesse\, Community Health Strategist\, Sauk County Department of Health\; Jessica Mijal\, Mental Health and Recovery Services Manager\, Sauk County Department of Human Services\; Jared Pierce\, Behavioral Health Specialist\, Sauk County Law Enforcement Center\; Mark Schauf\, Chief of Police\, Baraboo Police Department\; and community members who will share their lived experiences.\n\n \n\nJenny Erickson\, Community Development Educator with UW-Madison Extension-Sauk County will moderate the discussion.\n\n \n\nLocal partners for this event include The Baraboo Acts Coalition\, the Carnegie-Schadde Memorial Public Library of Baraboo\, the City of Baraboo Police Department\, and the UW-Madison Sauk County Extension.\n\n \n\nThis discussion is part of a series of Community Conversations aimed at promoting equity\, unity\, and inclusivity in the Baraboo community.\n\n \n\nSubmit Questions for the Panel by August 27\n\n \n\nWhile there will be an opportunity during the panel discussion to submit questions through the Chat function on Zoom\, we will begin with questions submitted using our online form.
