DESCRIPTION:The 38th annual Winterfest provides something fun to do for people of all ages! Check out all the fan planned for this exciting weekend below.\n\nThose that register for the 5K\, Family Iciclympics\, or 55+ Games by Monday\, January 29\, 2024\, will be entered into a drawing for a voucher for 2 Milwaukee Brewers loge or club level tickets to any 2024 Monday-Thursday home game. The winner will be announced during the Family Sledding and Snowball Party.\n\n*Events may be added or altered depending on weather conditions or other factors. Be sure to follow this event page for updates.\n\nMany of these events can only happen due to help from people like you. If you are interested in volunteering to help any of these events\, contact Baraboo Parks\, Recreation\, & Forestry Department at parkrec@cityofbaraboo.com\n\nVR Game and Storytime\n\nCarnegie-Schadde Memorial Library will be hosting a fun and free event featuring a Polar VR experience\, a storytime about Antartica\, and hands-on activities regarding penguins and the arctic.\n\nDate: Saturday\, February 3\n\nTime: 9:00am\n\nWhere: Carnegie-Schadde Memorial Library\n\nFee: FREE\n\nhttps://www.csmpl.org/\n\n5K Run/Walk\n\nAnnual Winterfest 5K Fun Run. Runners will be divided into different age groups\, and there will be awards for the top finishers in the age groups. T-shirts to all pre-registered runners. Proceeds go to future Civic Center program improvements. Badger Kettle Corn will set up at the Civic Center as well!\n\nDate: Saturday\, February 3\, 2024\n\nTime: Race starts at 10:00am\n\nRunners should meet at the Baraboo Civic Center to check-in\n\nEarly registration fee: $25 until 1/15/24\n\nLate registration fee: $35 1/16/24-2/2/23\n\nOnline registration only available until Friday\, February 2\, 2024 at noon.
