Everyone has a story! Join us at the Baraboo Public Library for the Memoir Writing Workshop. With verbal or visual prompts, we practice reflecting on a single memory, followed by writing a short, individual piece about that memory. In this way, the short pieces we write can add up, and we do not need to be discouraged by the thought of having “too little time” to tackle a memoir. The support of the group and facilitator can make the process even easier.
The Baraboo Public Library and the UW-Baraboo/Sauk County Library co-sponsor the monthly workshops, which are free and open to the public. No registration is required, and new participants are always welcome. For more information, call the Baraboo Public Library at 608-356-6166.
