LibraryPalooza
How do you get to LibraryPalooza? Join in the fun of Baraboo Public Library’s summer READO game!
LibraryPalooza is a celebration designed especially for people who participate in the library’s summer READO game. It will be part music jam, part carnival, and all fun! It will happen on Saturday, August 12, from 2 PM to 6 PM at the Baraboo Public Library.
To earn your invitation to the LibraryPalooza celebration, you must complete one READO - one vertical, horizontal or diagonal line of fun activities on the READO card made for your age group. When you complete one READO, you have not only qualified for admission to LibraryPalooza, you will also earn a wristband good for free treats at the party.
LibraryPalooza will be lots of fun for kids, and entertaining for adults. We will have a bouncy house, a dunk tank, a karate demonstration, rickshaw rides, pie throwing, and water balloon tossing. We will also offer root beer floats, popcorn, snow cones, and cotton candy that every invited guest can enjoy for free. Our musical lineup includes WheelHouse, Mike Powers and the Flannels, and the Dixie Sizzlers.
Remember, the only way to enjoy the fun at LibraryPalooza is to first participate in the READO game. READO cards are available at the library circulation desks, and can be turned in through Saturday, August 5.
