Event Description:
Durward’s Glen sponsors the Fall Festival each year, bringing art fans and artists together for sales and fun in the fall colors
It’s a fun event for the whole family.  Guests can enjoy fall colors, visit with local artists and other vendors who are selling their wares, join the guided tours of the Glen, and enjoy brats and burgers, baked goods, fall produce, and refreshments in the food stands on the grounds.

Artists will be set up on the lower floors of the Log Lodge and the Artist’s Cottage, allowing visitors a look inside these historic buildings.  Items for sale will include items, such as handmade wooden toys, baskets, alpaca items, jewelry, botanicals for bath and body, repurposed historical clothing, paintings, photography, books and purses. Watch for photos of the items for sale at Durward’s Glen Retreat Facebook page.

Guided tractor wagon tours will introduce guests to the Bernard Durward family, and the members of the St. Camillus Order, and their efforts to bring faith, art, and environmental beauty together in this hidden treasure.  The historical buildings that were used to sell portraits of Wisconsin’s state leaders, and religious art, and housed the members of the first novitiate in the country, now house guests for retreats, family stays, community meetings, art workshops, and individual stays.  The grounds are open to the public daily from dawn until dusk.
