Event Description:
The Baraboo Public Library joins the Ho-Chunk House of Wellness and UW Baraboo/Sauk County in presenting Wisconsin Reads The Round House: An NEA Big Read. This will be the final book discussion of Louise Erdrich’s The Round House, facilitated by UW Colleges Diversity Specialist Jo Teut, and focusing on chapters 9-11. Open to the public. The NEA Big Read project is a project of University of Wisconsin Colleges and Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Community Colleges’ students, faculty, and staff to bring communities around the state together in a community read. The NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest. Programming at the Baraboo Public Library is supported in part by a grant from the Sauk County UW-Extension, Arts & Culture Committee and the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts.
